Beautiful , clean and central

Hotel Marrakesh it’s a nice little gem. Great location, just off the main market streets, the rooms are beautiful and airy. They all have different styles and decorations. Samad is an incredible host, always happy to help and very friendly. Highly recommend!

Warm, welcoming.

Everything was fantastic, the location in the medina was great, lots of places to see, excellent street food. Abdou the manager could not have been nicer, as a solo traveller he made me feel more than welcome, recommended lots of things to see, places to visit, restaurants cafes etc, even went as far as sending me everything on Watsapp.

Exactly what we were expecting

Hard, but not impossible to find in the dark (tip - if you are walking from the station walk the whole length of the promenade and cut up in to the Medina at Hotel Continental). Lovely reception and lots of tips and advice on the area including an excellent option for supper. Room was bonkers. We were on the roof so it’s a bit noisy not only from the ‘call to eater’ (but you gotta expect that!) but also those guests who come up for the view but perhaps don’t realise there’s also too rooms up there. However not really an issue.

The stairs - but I don’t think they were putting lifts in Riads in 1885

Location was great. Very good option for its price for 1-2 days

It was very cold in the room, no heating. Even though there were 3 blankets on the bed, we were freezing in the room

Recommended to explore Tangeri

Very well located inside the Medina of Tangeri, taxis stop just 3 minutes walking from it. The owners of the place were very helpful and kind and gave us many infos (where to go, where to eat and so on). We were there during New year's eve and we could come back at night withouth problems, even though they close the main door of the hotel at midnight. Once we left, they also took us to take taxi on the way back and dealt with the taxi driver for a honest price. Our room was more like a small flat: sleeping room + living room with also fridge, kitchen, big balcony and sofa. Private bathroom as well. If you're on budget and you know how to travel for many days, it's a nice place where to stay.

Typical little Riad in the old Medina

Friendliness of the owner and his brother, great value for money, optimal position for visiting the old city.

The bathroom drains smelled but I guess you can't do much about it. The facilities are minimal so there is no wait conditioning (but we knew it from the description).

The hotel is very comfortable and well located, but highlight Abdul's friendliness and kindness, when at night, on the amazing roof of the hotel, I learned a lot of things about Moroccan culture with him, with great humility and closeness. Perfect :)

The property was amazing. Abdul was a treat. So kind helpful and most of all FUN! The view was the best in all of old town. Right in the heart of the magic of the old city. So much to do and see. Would recommend this spot to everyone! Also did the sight seeing tour and hit all the wonderful spots in a day. Very good price and private car tour was way better than a crowded bus :)

The location is very good. The host, Abdou, is kind and understanding. He gave me a list of all the good restaurants and things to see in Tangier which helped a lot. There is also a nice terrace at the top, where you can hang out and meet other travelers. The view at the terrace is amazing. Although there is no air conditioning, but you don't need one in Tangier so it's OK.

The staff was very attentive, he even made a list of the must see attractions and suggestions on where to eat. Free mint tea welcome, the best is the staff
